Semone C. Yeck
Former Riverton resident Semone C. Yeck of Rainier, Ore., died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at the Hospice care Center in Longview Wash. She was 80 years old. Graveside services are Friday Oct. 22 at 2 p. m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton. Semone Clarice Barthazon was born on Sept. 7, 1919, in Hudson, the daughter of Julien and Alphonsine (Bouchard) Barthazon. She had moved to Washington to Riverton in May of this year. Mrs. Yeck worked as a bookkeeper for a trucking company for many years, and her family says she enjoyed bingo, reading and eating out. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Yeck, in 1981. Survivors include daughters Bobbie Cunningham and Katy Sturdevant of Rainier, Ore., Anna Drake of Battle Mountain, N. V., and Linda Lowrey of Riverton; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. memorials may be made to the Hospice Care center, P. O. Box 2067, Longview, Wash., 98632. Columbia Funeral Service of Longview is in charge of arrangements.
