WILLIAM R. YECK
Graveside services for William R. Yeck, 89, who died Friday night at Clovis High Plains Hospital were held Saturday at 1 p. m. at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Gary Mitchell officiating. Steed-Todman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Yeck was born Nov. 22, 1892 in Denton Co., Texas. He came from DeQueen Ark. to Clovis in 1937 and operated his own laundry for 30 years. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War 1. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Alameda of Portales and Mrs. George Parrish of Clovis; one brother, Elmer Yeck of Denton, Texas; one sister Anne McAnally of Broken Bow, Okla; three grandsons; 10 great grand children and five great great grandchildren.
